Yashodha is a 10th grader and has been attending Pardada Pardadi School since 2005.
Yashodha is one of five sisters. Her eldest sister did not go to school at all. All eight members of Yashoda’s family share one poorly constructed, and barely furnished room. They keep a cow, which gives them milk everyday, and this milk is sold for a few extra rupees.
Yashodha hopes to continue studying after she has graduates from Pardada Pardadi. She is interested in science and english, so she would like to study one of these subjects. Yashodha is a sweet natured and friendly student. She has a beautiful smile.
Yashodha is thankful to you Laurie for your generous gift of a year of tuition and vocational training. Your gift will help her in fulfilling her dreams and will open new doors of opportunity for her!
