Archana is now armed with new skills

archana
Fifteen year old Archana hails from the village of Karanpur. Her father, Rajender Singh, is a farmer and her mother, Sudama, is a housewife. She studies in grade 9 in the school run by Pardada Pardadi in Anoopshahar. She has two sisters- one of whom is a teacher in the same school, and the other is studying in grade 10.

Archana is a bright girl who likes to learn and is dedicated to school.  Her attendance is almost 100%.  She likes studying home science in school and for fun she likes to play cricket with her friends.  Archana likes everything about school.  Her favorite sweet is balushahi.  Archana is not sure of what she wants to do after graduating from school, but she definitely knows that she wants to have a career and be economically independent.

Your donations, Yosia and Chi (x 11), will ensure that Archana gets one spoken English class and one computer training class a week for an entire year. Both these skills are very important if Archana wants to get a good job in India, and without your support, she would not have been able to acquire them at all. In addition, she will also be attending workshops on personality development, so she knows how to carry herself in settings different from the ones she is used to.

Thank you for supporting Archana.
