Geet wants to become a radio jockey

Fifteen year old Kushboo studies in Grade 10 at the school run by Pardada Pardadi. Her father, Surendra Sharma, is a laborer and her mother, Mamta Devi, is a housewife. Geet has one brother and five sisters. She loves listening to songs on the radio, and dreams of becoming a radio jockey when she grows up. She is fascinated by stories of far away places, and would love to be able to travel someday.

Kushboo lives in the village of Shahjahanpur which is far away from the school. Since the distance is long, Kushboo’s family would have forced her to drop out of school as soon as she entered high school.
