Kishori can reach for her dreams

Kishori* is a 13 year old girl in the 6th grade at the Pardada Pardadi Inter College in India. She lives in the village of Badpura with her father, Suresh, who is a laborer, and her mother, Mamta devi, who is a housewife. Kishori has two brothers and one sister. Kishori’s favorite subject is math. She wants to become a teacher when she grows up so that she can help educate the next generation of youth.
