Niyati wants to join the police force

Fourteen year old Niyati* lives in the village of Dungra Jatt, India and is in the seventh grade at Pardada Pardadi Intercollege. Her father is a farmer and her mother takes care of Niyati and her three siblings. Niyati loves school and wants to become a policewoman when she is older.

Pardada Pardadi helps girls like Niyati get an education. School attendance is typically much lower for girls than for boys in rural India because families cannot afford to send all of their children to school.

Pardada Pardadi was able to help Niyati with school materials because of your support, Prasad. Niyati received two school uniforms, shoes, and more so that she can go to school for another year. Niyati is continuing her education so that she can fulfill her dreams. Thank you, again, Prasad, for providing a brighter future for Niyati and making her dreams a reality.
