Rubi (means beautiful in English) is a very charming and optimistic girl. She is in 9th grade. She is from Makhaina village, which is not far from Pardada Pardadi School.
Rubi’s father is a farmer and he works in the field to support his family of 6. Rubi likes English very much and wants to become an English teacher when she grows up!
She says a big thanks to Rob for your generous gift of a uniform to her. She will be happy to wear her new pair of shoes and uniform!

Babli is from Fajpura village in India and studies in 6th grade at Pardada Pardadi School. Babli has a big family and all her family members share one room. Her father supports her family as a farmer.
Babli likes science and when she grows up, she would like to become a science teacher. With her hard work and friends like you she would be able to achieve her dreams.

Rekha lives in Mau village and comes to school by bicycle. Rekha is in 9th grade and has been attending Pardada Pardadi School since 2006. She has four younger siblings and and all five of them are supported by her father, who is a farmer.
Rekha enjoys learning vocational skills and she is currently learning machine embroidery. After graduating from Pardada Pardadi School, she wants to go to college to become an airhostess. She wants to work, so that she can look after herself and her family.
Rekha is very thankful to Tricia for providing her with a pair of school uniforms. Your generous gift will allow her to wear a neat and clean uniform to school each day!

Chanchal (chirpy in English) is a 6th grader and has been attending Pardada Pardadi School since 2008. She is a bright and disciplined student. She is also a good dancer.
She and her two brothers and sister live with her parents in a one room house. Her father is a farmer and works in the field to support his family.
Without the support of Tricia, Chanchal would be unable to afford the uniform she wears in this photo. Thank you so much for your support. Your gift means a lot to her.

Neelam is a 7th grader and has been attending the Pardada Pardadi School since July 2007.
She is a very good student; she is hardworking, punctual and disciplined. Neelam lives in Rajpur, a small village near the Pardada Pardadi campus in Anoopshahr, India. She has three younger siblings, all of whom are supported on the salary her father earns working for Pardada Pardadi in their vocational training school.
Neelam is very thankful to you Margo for your generous gift to her. Thank you for providing her with two new uniforms and a pair of shoes!

Harshita is a 6th grader who joined Pardada Pardadi School in June 2008. Her father is a driver, and her parents must rent a small home as they do not have enough money to buy. She does not have a toilet, water or electricity facilities at her home.
Despite these challenges, Harshita never gives up and is very optimistic about changing her fate through hard work. She says” a bright day always comes after a dark night.”

Thanks to your donation, Beena now has two new school uniforms! Beena’s favorite subject is science, and after school she likes to play baseball!
Beena’s father is a farmer and on his salary must support Beena and her six older siblings. The family keeps two buffalos which give them milk, and their milk is sold for a few extra rupees.

Yashodha is a 10th grader and has been attending Pardada Pardadi School since 2005.
Yashodha is one of five sisters. Her eldest sister did not go to school at all. All eight members of Yashoda’s family share one poorly constructed, and barely furnished room. They keep a cow, which gives them milk everyday, and this milk is sold for a few extra rupees.
Yashodha hopes to continue studying after she has graduates from Pardada Pardadi. She is interested in science and english, so she would like to study one of these subjects. Yashodha is a sweet natured and friendly student. She has a beautiful smile.
Yashodha is thankful to you Laurie for your generous gift of a year of tuition and vocational training. Your gift will help her in fulfilling her dreams and will open new doors of opportunity for her!

Raveena is a nursery grade student who has been attending Pardada Pardadi School since February 2010. She loves coming to school every day. Her father passed away last year and she misses him a lot. She wants to grow up as soon as possible as she does not like her mother to work in the field. She wants to help her family. Her aspiration is to become a doctor.
Raveena is thankful to Anne, Josh, Josiah and Isaiah for their generous gift. Your donation provides Raveena with a school uniform and shoes and is very impactful for her!

Priti is an 8th grader attending Pardada Pardadi School since 2008. She stays at Badpura Village where the literacy rate is very low. Priti has three siblings. Her father is a farmer and is the only source of income for the family. Her mother is a house wife taking care of her family.
Priti plays cricket in her leisure time and, in fact, wants to become a cricketer.
Priti says thank you very much to Scott for providing her with a pair of school uniforms!
