Anju studies in class 8 at Pardada Pardadi School. She has five siblings. Her father runs a small shop at Shiv Nangla.
Anju is a very energetic and hard working girl and likes to participate in the school’s culture programs. Anju likes computers and wants to teach computers at Pardada Pardadi School.

Malti studies in class 5 at Pardada Pardadi School. She has one brother and one sister. She is the oldest daughter of her parents and looks after all of her siblings. Her father is a farmer and works in the field to earn bread for his family. Malti aspires to become an air hostess as she wants to fly and see lots of places. She is a career oriented girl.
She is very thankful to Kabir for his generous gift towards the uniform. Thank you for providing her with a uniform so that she can participate at Pardada Pardadi!

Muskan (means smile) is as nice as her name. Muskan studies in the nursery class. She joined Pardada Pardadi School in February 2010. She comes from a very poor family as her father works in the field to support their family of 8 members.

Seema studies in class 9th at Pardada Pardadi School. She comes from Khalor village. Her parents are illiterate; she was the first female to passed class 8th in her family and hopes to become a first qualified police officer from her village. She says that she wants to live in a peaceful country.

Manju studies in class 5th at Pardada Pardadi School. She comes to school by bus. She has three sisters and one brother. Her family is not economically strong, her father is a laborer and her mother is a home maker. Majnu likes to studies English and wants to become an English teacher to help poor girls at the school.

Kamlesh studies in class at Pardada Pardadi School. She comes from Manapur village, a village where people do not have access to basic amenities. Kamlesh has a very big family; she has four brothers and three sisters. It is very tough for her father to support his family, as he is a small farmer. Kamlesh likes computer class very much and hopes to become a computer teacher. She wants to open a computer training institute in her village to help the villagers.

Renu is in fourth grade at Pardada Pardadi school in north India. She has been attending since 2008. Her father is a farmer and works hard in his fields to support his family. She is the youngest one of her siblings. She loves to come to the school and spend time with her teachers and companions. She is a very bubbly and highly ambitious girl and wants to become a doctor to help the people.
Unfortunately, her family income is not enough to support her education. It is thanks to Gargee that Renu will be able to continue her studies this year!

Dear Olivia,
Hemlata is studying in 5th grade. She is a very bright student. She is very good at English and wants to become an English teacher some day! She likes Pardada Pardadi school very much. When not at school, Hemlata helps her mother at home with the cleaning and washing. Thank you Olivia for providing Hemlata with a school uniform! Providing school uniforms is one of the best ways to encourage girls to stay in school!

Dear Nicole,
12 year old Savita is a sixth grade student at Pardada Pardadi School. She has been studying here since 2007. Sarita comes from a family where nobody has studied beyond primary level.
She is very enthusiastic about her education and aspires to attend college. She can’t wait to grow up and become a college graduate so she can serve her family and friends.

Rekha is a seventh grade student at Pardada Pardadi School. She comes from a desperately poor family that lives on the edge of Anoopshahar in a one-room house. She lost her father at an early age.
Despite these setbacks, Rekha is highly ambitious and has as an upbeat personality. Her ambition is to work for Pardada Pardadi school as a computer teacher.
Richard, thank you very much for your kind donation that got Rekha a pair of shoes and a school dress – a “salwaar kameez”. She used to wear flip-flops (“chappals”) to school, but thanks to you she now has a pair of new shoes. Thanks Richard for your generous gift!
