Koshal lives in the village of  Malakpur which is far away from the school. Since the distance is long, she would have been forced to drop out of school, if not for your donation, , of a bicycle. Now, Koshal, can cycle to school every day. Thank you for empowering Koshal.

Geet wants to become a radio jockey

Fifteen year old Kushboo studies in Grade 10 at the school run by Pardada Pardadi. Her father, Surendra Sharma, is a laborer and her mother, Mamta Devi, is a housewife. Geet has one brother and five sisters. She loves listening to songs on the radio, and dreams of becoming a radio jockey when she grows up. She is fascinated by stories of far away places, and would love to be able to travel someday.

Kushboo lives in the village of Shahjahanpur which is far away from the school. Since the distance is long, Kushboo’s family would have forced her to drop out of school as soon as she entered high school. Your donation of a bicycle has ensured that Kushboo can cycle to school both ways, and can attend all her extra classes without having to worry about transportation..

Sonya wants to become a doctor

Twelve year old Sonya is a seventh grader, living in the village of Khalor. Her father, Rajveer, is a farmer and her mother is a  housewife. Sonya’s favourite subject is General Knowledge and she wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

Thank you, Lauren, for providing an entire year of computer training and spoken English classes to Sonya. This will give her the much needed confidence to seek a job outside the village where she has grown up.

She lives in Rood Bangar, and has two brother and three sisters.  Her favorite subject is General Knowledge, and she wants to become a police inspector.

Many girls are forced to drop out of school because after they reach puberty, it is no longer considered safe for them to walk long distances to go to school. Your gift of a bicycle will ensure that Pallavi is independently mobile, and able to go to school without any difficulty.

Bharti can be a real handful sometimes

Dear Carys and John,

Thirteen year old Bharti  dreams of becoming a teacher some day. She lives in the village of Karanpur and isa student of Grade 8 B. Her father, Dhani Ram, is a laborer, and her mother, Nemwati, is the Kitchen-In-charge at PPES school. Bharti has two elder sisters as well, both studying in PPES school, in Grade 8 and Grade 10 respectively. Bharti’s parents do not own a house, so the entire family lives with her maternal grandparents. Bharti is an intelligent, beautiful and a very naughty girl who can be a real handful sometimes.  Her favorite subject is English. She enjoys a good game of  badminton.

Bharti wants to take full advantage of  her computer training and English speaking classes so that she can be ready to succeed upon graduation and be a step closer to becoming  a teacher.
